1. Who we are SilkRaven is run by Kathryn Moore, Marientaler Straße 4, 12437 Berlin, Germany. Kathryn is responsible for your data on this website (the "controller" under the GDPR). Questions about your data: **kat@silkraven.com**
2. What this website collects, and why
If you sign up for early access
- Your email address (required), and if you choose to give them, your name, your studio and your role.
- Whether you'd like to be a design partner (a studio that tries SilkRaven early and gives feedback).
We use this only to tell you when early access opens and, if you asked to be a design partner, to get in touch about it. Nothing else: no newsletters you didn't ask for, and we never sell or share your details.
Confirming your sign-up: after you sign up we send one email asking you to confirm. Nothing else is sent until you click the link. If you don't confirm within 7 days, your details are deleted. When you confirm, we record the time you signed up and confirmed, so we can show you really asked to hear from us.
If we let you in, we send you one more email with a personal link to create your account. The link works once and expires after 14 days.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing kat@silkraven.com or using the link in any email we send; we'll delete your details.
If you use the contact form
Your name, email address and message, so we can reply. We keep them until your question is answered, then for up to 12 months in case you follow up, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Legal basis: answering your enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where it's about working with us, otherwise our legitimate interest in replying, Article 6(1)(f)).
When you visit the website
Like every website, our hosting provider's servers briefly process technical data needed to deliver the page (such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request). This is needed to show you the site and keep it secure.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visitor statistics
We count visits to understand how people find the site and how the app is used, through our hosting provider's built-in statistics: pages viewed, how visitors arrived (for example from LinkedIn or a search engine), country and device type. These statistics describe overall traffic, not individual people: they don't build a profile of you or follow you across visits.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Cookies This website **doesn't use cookies** for tracking or advertising, so there's no cookie banner.
4. How long we keep it - **Unconfirmed sign-ups:** deleted after 7 days. - **Confirmed sign-ups:** until early access opens and for up to 12 months after, unless you ask us to delete them earlier. If you become a design partner, we keep them for as long as we work together. - **Contact form messages:** up to 12 months after your question is answered. - **Technical server data:** only as long as the hosting provider needs it for delivery and security. - **Visitor statistics:** kept only as totals, never as personal data.
5. Who processes data for us We use these services to run the website. They act on our instructions under data processing agreements: - **Lovable** (Lovable Labs Incorporated AB, Sweden): builds and hosts the website and its visitor statistics. - **Supabase**, through Lovable Cloud: stores the sign-up details in a database in the EU (Ireland). - **Resend** (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA, using its EU region): sends the confirmation email and any early-access emails, from hello@mail.silkraven.com. Open and click tracking are switched off.
Some of these providers may use companies outside the EU for parts of their service. Where they do, transfers are covered by the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
